Sonny Reece - Vocals

If you listen closely, you can still hear where Sonny Reece comes from. Campfire harmonies drifting across a Missouri night. Guitars passed from hand to hand. Family stories that linger long after the fire burns out.

Sonny was born into a musical bloodline. On his mother’s side, nearly everyone could sing or play an instrument. Music was part of everyday life, as natural as the land they lived on. His earliest memories are filled with starlight and song, uncles strumming, voices rising together, and Sonny learning what it meant to feel a song rather than hear one.

But the same place that gave him music also taught him heartbreak. His grandfather, a gifted guitarist and steel player with a respected radio show in Missouri who toured throughout the Midwest and played the Opry circuit, lost everything in a devastating accident when a wooden bridge collapsed beneath his truck. The injuries ended his music career and changed the family forever. That shadow stayed on the farm, and Sonny grew up beneath it, learning early about pain, resilience, and the fragile beauty that comes from surviving both.

Those two forces, the joy of music and the ache of loss, sit at the center of Sonny Reece’s sound.

Today, Sonny turns those memories into songs that cut deep. His music blends traditional country soul with Southern rock grit, the kind that feels dusty, honest, and lived in. His voice carries the weight of Missouri dirt roads and late-night confessions, drawing comparisons to the spirit of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Hank Williams, Jeff Buckley, and Patsy Cline.

“I try to make music that’ll make you cry,” Sonny says. “When someone feels something, really feels it, that’s when I know I’ve done my job.”

On stage, Sonny does not perform. He lets go. Every lyric feels like a release. Every chord carries a memory. His shows feel less like a set list and more like a shared moment. Raw. Human. Real.

Visually, his world follows the same path. Weathered denim, pearl snap shirts, neon signs buzzing in small town nights, and the long silhouette of a Cadillac parked at the edge of an old highway. It is Americana with grit under its nails, where heartbreak meets hope and where the past, no matter how heavy, still pushes the music forward.

With new music on the horizon and a growing community riding with him, Sonny Reece continues carving his own lane in modern Americana and alt-country. Authentic. Emotional. Unapologetically real.

He is here to make you feel something, and to remind you that every scar carries a story worth singing.

Scott hails from Detroit,Michigan, “Detroit Rock City”….Its here that he fused his love of heavy metal and hard rock into his own brand of music. Rocking the walls of many clubs in the Detroit area. In the early 90's Scott relocated to Muscle Shoals, AL. It was there that he took advantage of the opportunity to work in recording studios around the Muscle Shoals area, This helped to sharpen Scott’s skills as a recording engineer as well as a producer. Scott was a founding member of “Tank n Steele” a rock band with four studio releases and toured the southeast headlining clubs & rocking bike rallies.

Scott joined The Southern Rock AllStars, replacing former Molly Hatchet Guitarist Duane Roland and spent many years touring nationally with SRA. Scott & founding Blackfoot drummer, the late Jakson Spires, toured together over the years and collaborated on “Legends Never Die” which would eventually become the first release from Thunderfoot.

Scott has shared the stage with such notable Musicians as members from Lynyrd Skynyrd, Blackfoot, Molly Hatchet, Marshall Tucker, Rossington Band, Pat Travers, etc…he continues to tour with passion and purpose, carrying on a legacy that blends the raw energy of rock with the soul and storytelling of Southern rock. With every performance, he pays tribute to his roots while inspiring new audiences, proving that timeless music knows no boundaries.
